'How The Premier League Table Would Look If VAR Wasn't Used

A table showing how the Premier League would look this season without VAR has been released and it has a few interesting changes.

VAR has been a controversial inclusion to the Premier League this season and the jury is very much still out on whether it's a positive inclusion for the league.

However, not much would have change at the top of the table.

Liverpool would still be cruising at the top with nine wins and a draw from their opening ten games.

Manchester City would be closer to them however with only four points separating them.

The additional two points for City would likely come from the game against Tottenham back in August.

Gabriel Jesus saw a last minute winner controversially ruled out as the ball inadvertently struck Aymeric Laporte's arm in the build up.

In terms of the rest of the top four, Leicester and Chelsea would swap places and sit in fourth and third respectively.

The big movers in the top half would be Crystal Palace.

Roy Hodgson's side would drop a massive eight places from sixth to 14th.

Palace have a fantastic penalty kick taker in Luka Milivojevic as well as tricky wingers in Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend so they make for a good combination.

Wolves would move up from 12th up to sixth due to the numerous decisions that have gone against them so far this season.

Spurs would be down in the relegation battle four points above the drop in 15th place rather than their current position in 11th.

The bottom of the table would still have the same bottom three, but Southampton would be bottom rather than Watford.

VAR had another controversial weekend due to numerous incidents throughout the three days of games.

Arsenal had a last minute winner ruled out against Palace , while Brighton and Manchester United received penalties following VAR reviews in their games with Everton and Norwich.
