Liverpool's lead at the top of the Premier League would be just six points if it wasn't for VAR this season.
The Reds, who proudly sit 13 points clear atop the table, have often been at the centre of VAR controversy this season.
While Jurgen Klopp's men have also had decisions go against them, the table of results without technology intervening paints a different picture.
According to The Sun, Liverpool would be five points worse off than they currently are had VAR not overturned goals.
And Manchester City would be three points better off, meaning they would be second behind Liverpool six points adrift.
Tottenham have also benefitted from VAR this season according to the table.
Spurs would be five points worse off without technology and in 12th place in the Premier League.
Liverpool's 1-0 win over Wolves on Sunday was shrouded in VAR controversy.
First the technology intervened to award Sadio Mane's goal after it had initially been disallowed for a handball by Adam Lallana.
Wolves were then left incensed when their equaliser just before half-time was ruled out by a marginal offside call.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side have every right to feel aggrieved by the technology this season.
Without VAR, they would be seven points better off and in fifth place, level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.
