Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson delighted fans by running the whole length of the pitch to be the first player to celebrate with Mo Salah, after providing the assist for the Reds' second goal.
The Reds dominated Manchester United for most of the game and were unfortunate to just be 1-0 up as the game moved to injury time. United won a corner in the 92nd minute, which no doubt caused panic for Reds' fans.
Instead of being a threat on their own goal Liverpool once again turned the corner into a quick counter, with Alisson knocking the ball long and perfectly finding Salah, who saw off Daniel James to make it 2-0. The Brazilian keeper followed his pass up field and was first on the scene to celebrate:
Alisson hadn't had too much to do with United having just four shots on target and the visitors best two chances were hit wide from Anthony Martial and Fred.
They put pressure on the Reds' goal late on and the corner was the perfect opportunity for an equaliser but the ball was played straight to him.
At the other end David de Gea had more to do, especially in the first half, and after Virgil van Dijk's opener he was lucky not to concede a second but Van Dijk was adjudged to have fouled the Spaniard in the build up to Roberto Firmino curling it past him.
He made an excellent save with his feet from Sadio Mane in the first half and another good stop early in the second 45 minutes.
The Spaniard may have done better for Salah's goal but fans were too busy celebrating Alisson's contribution and skills in celebrating to care.
The win for Liverpool took them 16 points clear of second place Manchester City and they still have a game in hand over the current champions.
Should both sides win all their games then Klopp's side could win the title with a win at the Etihad on April 4th, which would be absolutely incredible.
