Arsenal close to sign PSG defender.

Kurzawa, a 27-year-old left-back, has been on the books at the Parc des Princes since 2015, when he made the move to Paris from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco.

The seasons since, though, have seen the stopper drift in and out of the starting XI of PSG.

He has never managed starts in more than half of the capital giantsnleague outings over the course of a campaign, with Kurzawa’s most
fruitful season in terms of time on the pitch having come in 2017/18.

The arrival of Juan Bernat, however, has since seen the French international pushed further down the defensive pecking order of Thomas Tuchel, with his game-time having dwindled further of late as a result.

To this point in the current campaign, Kurzawa has managed just 6 Ligue 1 starts.

As such, it has come as little surprise to see the out-of-favour stopper linked with a potential PSG departure this month.

And, as per the aforementioned report from the always reliable David Ornstein, one club appear to have stolen a clear march in the race for
Kurzawa’s signature.

The Gunners are said to be in ‘advanced talks’ to seal a cut-price/ potentially free deal, which would see Kurzawa make the move to the
Emirates this month.

Orsntein adds that Arsenal are currently working on ‘3-4’ bargain-type transfers.
