Manchester City assist king Kevin De Bruyne has been ranked as the best player in the Premier League so far this season, according to a study.

WhoScored have crunched the all-important numbers to determine the best 25 players in England's top flight so far this season.

And the Belgium maestro ranks No.1 with a rating of 7.90 ahead of Wolves' Adama Traore who has a rating of 7.75.

De Bruyne's teammate Riyad Mahrez, Leicester City's Ricardo Pereira and Liverpool's Sadio Mane are placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
