'Liverpool Fan Has A Meltdown And Says He's 'Not Confident' About Winning The Premier League

A Liverpool fan has admitted he's 'not confident' his side will win the Premier League this season - despite being 22 points clear.

Jurgen Klopp's side have lost three of their last four games and were knocked out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

Despite their massive lead at the top, David rang into talkSPORT following Tuesday's game and admitted he's getting nervous.

When asked by the presenters if he was confident 'The Reds' will be champions come May, he replied:

"I'm not confident we'll win the league.

"If you look at the fixture list we've got to play Arsenal who are getting back into form and can focus now they've been knocked out of the Europa League.

"Then we've got Everton that's not going to be easy, then we have Newcastle [United] who won tonight."

David then goes on to admit that he doesn't see where the goals are going to come from.

Despite being told his side need four wins to become champions, David insists that he's not sure they'll win four more games this season.

"I don't know which 4 games they can win, we've just lost to Watford 3-0!"

David also states that he doesn't think January signing Takumi Minamino is good enough and states:

"I want to bring in [Erling] Haaland or [Timo] Werner. [Robert] Lewandowski would do."

He also wanted Liverpool to sign a new defender in January because he feels Virgil van Dijk 'is exhausted'.

Although fans are worried about their recent slump in form, Klopp 'isn't worried' about their momentum.

"Well look, it went our way for so long because we defended so well," he told talkSPORT.

"Teams usually don't get a lot of chances against us. No, we have to admit that in the last three games we've conceded too many goals, that's true.

"I'm not worried about momentum. Momentum is not something you go and get and then just have it.

"You can lose it but then you have to go and get it again. We have always the chance to get it back."

Liverpool return to action against Bournemouth on Saturday, before the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
