Bayern 'join multiple clubs in race to sign Turkish league top scorer Sorloth'

Bayern are among several European clubs interested in Trabzonspor striker Alexander Sorloth, according to Foot Mercato.

The 24-year-old Sorloth is on loan from Crystal Palace but Trabzonspor have a €7m option to buy and hope to get a €25-30m fee in the summer.

Sorloth is top scorer in Turkish league now as he has scored 25 goals in 39 games and made 8 assists, which has helped Trabzonspor go top.

Sorloth has once denied rumors of Real Madrid move, hesaid: "I have seen the rumours. There are always many… I’ve read about it and I keep getting told about teams that are interested.

"However, I am focused only on Trabzonspor. There’s a great sense of team spirit here and we want to win. It would be irresponsible and inappropriate to talk about a transfer at the moment."

Also, Man United, Sheffield United, Sevilla and RB Leipzig all sent talent spotters along to watch the striker as he played for Trabzonspor in their 5-2 win over Rizespor in the Turkish top flight.
