Inter don’t have to sell Lautaro unless president Zhang agrees the deal (GdS)

Inter are not in a position where they have to sell Lautaro Martinez and he will only be allowed to leave on Inter president Steven Zhang's terms if he asks to leave according to a report in today's print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Argentine national team striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in the coming months with both Barcelona and Manchester City in particular linked to him.

As things stand, Lautaro is tempted by the prospect of a move to Barcelona, even if he is very happy in Milan and very grateful to Inter.

It is no secret that talks have taken place between Barcelona and his representatives and it is widely understood that they wish to do a player(s) plus cash deal for the 22-year-old, opposed to paying his €111 million release clause.

Carles Alena, Nelson Semedo, Junior Firpo and Marc Cucurella could be included in a bid from Barcelona.

The report goes on to add that Steven Zhang wants as much cash as possible if Lautaro must go as he wants plenty funds to reinforce the team.
