Inter and Juventus are both interested in Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini and could make a move for him in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
The 23-year-old is under contract with the Italian capital city club until the end of the 2021/22 season and there have been talks over a contract extension but these talks are currently at a stalemate.
If an agreement over a new deal is not found by the beginning of July, Pellegrini will continue to have his €30 million release clause, a clause which makes him further attractive to other interested clubs.
For the time being Inter and Juventus are focusing on other players and there has been no direct contact with Roma over the Italian national team player but they continue to monitor his situation, just like reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain.
This season Pellegrini has made 24 appearances across all competitions. He has scored three goals and has provided 11 assists for his teammates.
