Man Utd 'join Madrid & Atletico in showing interest in Real Valladoid's Salisu'

Manchester United have joined Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in showing interest in Real Valladoid defender Mohammed Salisu.

Salisu has produced a number of impressive performances in his breakthrough season in La Liga.

The 21-year-old signed a new deal with Real Valladoid last May until 2022 but has a release clause in his contract of just £10million, according to AS.

It has been reported that Valladoid are keen for him to sign a new contract, which would include a higher release clause.

The Ghanaian left-sided centre back has featured 27 times in Spain's top flight this season, scoring once against Eibar in October.

Salisu was set to make his international debut for Ghana in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers last November but pulled out due to injury.
