Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal & Madrid all chasing £40m Ben Yedder (L'Equipe)

A number of top Premier League clubs, including the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, are all eyeing a move for Monaco hot-shot Wissam Ben Yedder, according to reports.

Ben Yedder previously plied his trade at Sevilla, but has already become one of the top forwards in Ligue 1 having netted 18 goals this season for his new club.

That has led to plenty of speculation about another move this summer, with a host of Spanish and English clubs targeting the 29-year-old valued at around £40m.

L'Equipe report that there is a long list of clubs lining up to take him, with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia all desperate to seal his return to LaLiga.

In England, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal are all credited with an interest, meaning there could well be a real transfer battle for the striker when the transfer window does eventually open.

Ben Yedder left Sevilla last summer when his £35m release clause was activated, and he has performed brilliantly during his first season back in France.

The 29-year-old has previously claimed that Barcelona tried twice to sign him in the last two windows, but the Nou Camp giants are not one of the sides currently credited with an interest in his signature.

Speaking to Onze Mundial, Ben Yedder said: 'Barcelona could have happened much earlier for me.

'Last summer they made contacts for me, they collected a lot of information about me and the same was true this winter, but the move did not happen.

'It shows I am doing a good job, but despite this interest I am totally focused on my performances with Monaco.'
