'Messi won't leave Barca for Inter & Lautaro will remain at Inter'

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has shared his belief neither Lionel Messi nor Lautaro Martinez will depart their respective employers in the coming months amid continued speculation in Argentine, Spanish and Italian media.

In the past week or so Messi has been strongly linked with a departure from Barcelona with Inter among clubs linked whilst Lautaro has long been linked with a move to Barcelona who see him as one of their top targets for the next transfer window.

I never believed it [Messi leaving Barcelona to join Inter] would be possible and I haven't changed my mind. I believe his arrival is impossible. Messi will stay where he is,” Biasin remarked in an interview with Italian news outlet Malpensa24.it.

“As for Lautaro, Barcelona are interested in him but Lautaro has never asked to leave Inter. He will remain at Inter.”

Biasin proceeded to share his views regarding what he thinks will happen with Mauro Icardi, who is owned by Inter and currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain.

“He will not stay at Inter, nor will Nainggolan, who will not return either. A decision was made about them some time ago. There has never been a discussion with Conte about this. The management decided that they would not be part of the project when he arrived and he already knew it.”

He concluded the interview by discussing the recent reports in the media that have seen Inter linked with a move for Manchester United and France national team midfielder Paul Pogba: “Inter cannot be excluded but I do not know if it will be possible.”
