The artists creating them often seem to have only the vaguest idea of who they're replicating. Perhaps they had someone else on the go first but, when the work came in, just thought: 'No it's fine, I can turn this into Matt Le Tissier.'

Each of these 20 statues, busts or sculptures have all gone on display in one form - paying worthy (-ish) tribute to a top football player.
