Hawk-Eye have released an official statement on the controversial goal line incident which occurred during Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United.
The visitors were denied a clear goal when Orjan Nyland carried the ball over the line after bumping into his teammate.
Hawk-Eye failed to notify match referee Michael Oliver of United's 'goal' as play continued without a goal being awarded to the away side.
Should Sheffield United be ahead here!? 🤯

The system who operate the technology have responded to the incident by releasing a statement, where they claim the cameras "were significantly occluded by the goalkeeper, defender and goalpost."
