'Premier League Fixtures For First Weekend Of Restart Revealed

The first three weeks of Premier League fixtures have been revealed and Manchester United's trip to Spurs is the first Friday night kick off of Project Restart.

England's top tier returns in less than two weeks with Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal, the four side's games in hand over the rest of the league, kicking things off.

Now though the rest of the first week of fixtures have also been revealed, with Jose Mourinho welcoming his former side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time on Friday 19th at 8pm on Sky.

The first three weeks of fixtures, up until the midweek games on July 2nd, and which television channels they'll be on have all been revealed, according to multiple reports.

The news means that Liverpool could confirm themselves as Premier League champions for the first time, and English champions for the first time in 30 years, at the Merseyside derby.

Should City lose to Arsenal then a win for Jurgen Klopp's side against local rivals Everton on Sunday 21st June would mean they win the league.

Pep Guardiola's side losing to Burnley after beating Arsenal and Liverpool beat the Toffees would also hand the title to the Reds in the first week of the restart.

BBC's first ever live Premier League game is Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace on Saturday 20th June and they will have three more league games after that, as well as two FA Cup quarter finals, a semi-final and the final.
