'How The Premier League Table Would Look Like Without Referee Errors

The Premier League table would look far different if supposed referee errors didn't happen according to a twitter profile. Liverpool would still be at the top of the league but the rest of the League would be very different.

VAR and refereeing errors are quite commonplace in modern football.

The argument that the ref is at fault is incredibly common and after the last gameweek, it isn't surprising.

With Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Everton all subject to very suspect calls against them which led to the opposition benefiting in regards to penalties or lack of penalties, a Twitter profile has supposedly created the league table if these calls weren't made.

Even though Liverpool would still be top of the League, they would not yet be the winners, still needing a win in their upcoming match against Burnley.

The top four however would be completely different with the third and fourth place belonging to Arsenal and Wolves respectively. Chelsea would drop to sixth, while Manchester United would end up 10th in the league.

Even though the table created doesn't have any data or statistics to back it up and ultimately couldn't create a table on instances that happen that radically changes a game, it is still quite interesting to see the table in view.

Jose Mourinho recently has even insinuated recent claims of this, with him noting that Manchester United's incredible number of penalties this season is the reason they are so far ahead of his dysfunctional Tottenham side currently.
