'The Top 50 Most Overrated Footballers Of All Time According To Fans

A top 50 list of the most overrated footballers of all time has been voted on by fans with some very questionable players making the list and even finishing very high in the list.

The ideas of overrating and underrating players has been a staple of many arguments between footballers alike. Players such as Roberto Firmino and Anthony Martial have been deemed overrated over the past few years due to their lack of scoring output at their respective clubs of Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, a lost of the top 50 most overrated players has been released with very questionable results on the list.

With players such as Edgar Davids, Paul Scholes, Robert Lewandowski, and Ronaldinho making the list questioned the results, but the top 10 is very controversial to say the least.

7. Edin Dzeko

6. Paulinho

5. Lionel Messi

4. Mario Balotelli

3. Shinji Kagawa

2. Cristiano Ronaldo

1. Radamel Falcao

A very bizarre top 10.

With players such as Paulinho, Edin Dzeko, and Shinji Kagawa making the list who were never really seen as world-class players in their prime. Funnily enough the top two players of all time in Messi and Ronaldo make the top five overrated players albeit both having incredible trophy and goal-scoring records.

Falcao coming out as the top most overrated player is also very questionable. Falcao in his prime at Porto and Atletico Madrid was arguably the best out-and-out striker in the world, scoring 70 goals in his two seasons at Atletico.
