Manchester United fans were a little confused not to see Donny van de Beek start against Newcastle United on Saturday, but the midfielder was more confused about coming on.
Van de Beek was United's first piece of transfer business in the summer, joining from Ajax, but he's yet to start a Premier League game yet, despite excitement from fans.
Against Newcastle on Saturday he still didn't get a start despite a lack of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba from the starting line up.
The Dutchman did come on in the second half, with the two sides deadlocked at 1-1, and made a big difference to the game.
However, just before he came on, Van de Beek was left extremely confused by a note from the fourth official. The official just happened to be holding the piece of paper in his hand whilst telling the midfielder to wait, but 23-year-old thought the paper was for him

Van de Beek arrived in the 75th minute with United struggling to break their hosts down, with Bruno Fernandes having missed from the penalty spot in the 58th minute.
However Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team eventually wore their opponents down and scored three late goals to put a gloss on the scoreline, though overall they did dominate play.
The former Ajax midfielder, who scored his first international goal in midweek, started the brilliant move for United's second, with Fernandes finishing off the brilliant team goal.
Asked about more playing time for the former Ajax man, Solskjaer said, "He'll get his game-time. He's been fantastic in the group.
"I think you see today and in training, he's so neat and tidy, I don't think he lost the ball once.
"It's about finding the balance in the team. We've won 4-1 today and you're asking why I didn't start one of the players.
"He'll have a very good impact on the team."

With skills like he's got, it's no wonder Van de Beek gets confused when he comes on as a substitute, he isn't used to it!
