Leeds savagely mocked Gabriel Agbonlahor's comments directed towards the club after their 3-0 victory over Aston Villa.
Patrick Bamford's second-half hat-trick sealed a convincing win at Villa Park on Friday as Marcelo Bielsa's men moved to third place in the Premier League.
Former Villa striker Agbonlahor, 34, firmly believed that his side would beat Leeds and spent plenty of time taking swipes at the club ahead of the match.
The ex-England international called Leeds a "myth" in one tweet and also took shots at club manager Bielsa.
Good morning to everyone but Leeds fans 🙌🏽

However, Agbonlahor was left with egg on his face after Leeds' victory over Villa and the club took to Twitter to respond to him in brutal fashion.
Leeds posted their own 'how it started, how it's going' meme that included Agbonlahor's different tweets alongside Bamford and Co celebrating during the Villa match.

And the Premier League club continued their trolling in a separate tweet as they posted the scoreline from the match and said that last night "was no myth."
Leeds tweeted: "Morning #LUFC fans! Last night was no myth, enjoy your weekend!"

Responding to the 3-0 defeat, Agbonlahor tweeted: "Great Perfomance [sic] by Leeds yesterday. And well done Bamford. Nothing feels better than scoring a premier league hatrick against a top 4 club."

Bielsa praised his side for their performance on the night and called it a "deserved triumph" for his men.
The 65-year-old Argentine told Match of the Day: "It was an important game for us and a deserved triumph.
"We scored first and were a little bit lucky they didn't score some of the chances they had. We were playing well even before the goal and had played well enough to go ahead."
Bielsa added that he was thrilled for Bamford and insisted that he was a "noble player who sacrifices a lot for the team."
The Leeds boss explained: "Very happy for Patrick because he scored some wonderful goals.
"Apart from that, [he is] a noble player who sacrifices a lot for the team -- generous also. I think his development is more to do with him and less to do with me."
