'Joe Hart And John Stones 'Wrestle' In Bizarre Exchange Before Tottenham Vs Manchester City

Joe Hart and John Stones were caught having an impromptu wrestling match ahead of Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City this evening.

The two sides met at the Totteham Hotspur Stadium on the back of Jose Mourinho's prickly comments about Raheem Sterling's absence from England duty.

But there was no love lost between the players as Hart and Stones, who are former teammates for City and England, embraced in a unique way.

The Spurs keeper grabbed a hold of Stones and attempted to latch onto his leg, but the 26-year-old managed to avoid it.

No clear winner was decided and the pair shared a hug before heading down the tunnel.

Fans weren't quite sure what to make of the incident and many said a certain pundit named Roy Keane wouldn't have had the best of reactions.

Spurs took the lead inside five minutes thanks to Son Heung-min.

Tanguy Ndombele picked out the South Korean with a lovely pass and he went on to slot past Ederson.

Harry Kane put the ball in the back of the net to double Spurs' lead but was correctly ruled offside.

Aymeric Laporte thought he'd brought his side level, but Gabriel Jesus handled in the build up.

Referee Mike Dean checked VAR and confirmed the goal had been chalked off.
