In terms of goals that don't get talked about enough, Johan Elmander majestic effort against Wolves has to take the number one spot.
Elmander wasn't the most elegant of strikers; neither was he the most prolific. During a forgettable three year spell with Bolton Wanderers, the Swedish forward managed just 18 goals in 92 appearances for The Trotters before joining Galatasaray on a free transfer in 2011.
He did, however, show glimpses of brilliance under the likes of Gary Megson and Owen Coyle.
Take this breathtaking finish against Wolves, for example.
This goal from Johan Elmander deserves more attention and respect.

Back in November 2010, on a cold, wet afternoon at Molineux, the 6ft 2 striker produced a remarkable piece of close-control to score the most underrated in Premier League history.
And that's not even an exaggeration.
It looked like nothing was on when Stuart Holden played a simple five yard pass to his feet but, somehow, in one swift movement, Elmander left Wolves' defensive line in tatters.
A mixture of impeccable spatial awareness, lightning quick feet and a deadly instinct in front of goal made for a truly memorable moment on that day in November 2010.
Let's take a look at it one more time. Blink and you'll miss it.
Bolton went on to secure all three points against Wolves that day in a five thriller but it was the genius of Elmander that grabbed the headlines, although his individual brilliance has somewhat been forgotten about by many - an injustice to what remains a spectacular moment.
Let's just take a minute to appreciate this finish, with a few unpopular opinions thrown into the mixer.
Unpopular opinion: If Dennis Bergkamp had scored this, the whole world would know about it.

If Johan Elmander scored this, we would never have heard about it again. https://t.co/AqvNfQTtgQ

Straight up facts, one of the most under rated goals ever. If it was anyone who had a big reputation one of the best goals ever but because it’s Bolton and no one has really heard of elmander much it gets taken away from him, football for you I suppose 🤦🏼♂️

At least Elmander meant it

Never forget.
