Felix's public frustration with Simeone leaves Inter & Juve 'on high alert'

Inter Milan and Juventus are 'planning to swoop for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix' after seeing him publicly air his frustrations with manager Diego Simeone.

Both Italian clubs are long-time admirers of the Atletico star, and are now reportedly on high alert after watching his furious reaction to having been taken off in the defeat by Real Madrid at the weekend.

After being subbed with half an hour to play, and his side 1-0 down, he reacted by booting a seat in the stands at Real Madrid's Valdebebas base.

Calciomercato report that Felix has never fully established a relationship with Simeone at Atletico, and the Italian clubs believe they can prise him away from Spain and give him a fresh start in Serie A.

Well aware that it will be difficult to shell out anywhere near the £114million that Atletico paid Benfica for him in 2019, it has been reported that Inter want to offer Lautaro Martinez in exchange.

Juventus, meanwhile, would offer up Paulo Dybala as part of the deal as they try to secure the signature of the talented Portuguese youngster.

If he were to head to Juve, it would mean linking up with his international team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who has regularly sung his praises in the past.

Labelling him an 'excellent player with a lot of potential who can evolve', Ronaldo would likely be pushing to secure a deal for Felix to join him in Turin.

At Atletico this season, the 21-year-old has played a part in all 11 of Atletico's LaLiga matches, but has only completed the 90 minutes twice.

He has started seven games, coming off the bench in the other four, but is the side's top scorer with eight goals in all competitions.
