Manchester United will offer Bruno Fernandes a massive pay rise in a new contract after his scintillating start to life at Old Trafford, according to reports.
And Fernandes wasted no time in establishing himself as a first-choice pick in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side after an immediate impact at United.
According to The Daily Mirror, United are now ready to bump Fernandes' wages up to £200,000-a-week, despite only signing for the club in January.
Fernandes' £200,000-a-week wages would still leave him significantly behind United's highest-earning stars like David de Gea and Paul Pogba, who are on £350,000-a-week and £300,000-a-week respectively.
The former Sporting CP star has scored an impressive 22 times and registered 14 assists for United in 38 appearances so far.
And Solskjaer once again praised Fernandes for his impact in the match, saying it wasn't an easy decision not to start him.
"It's not easy leaving these players out, that's the thing," the United boss said.
"But you have to try and manage the whole season and the playing time. And injuries and fatigue, and all the little things that you've got.
"It's a great position to be in. At half-time, you know you can do things that change things in games. It certainly helped with the changes, even though there were slight injuries that made us have to do them."
