Mikel Arteta bemused Arsenal fans at his press conference on Monday morning, as the manager started talking about his sides percentage chance of winning games.
It's not been a good few weeks for Arsenal and they've now gone seven games in the Premier League with a win, picking up just two points during that spell.
Saturday saw the latest loss for the Gunners as an own goal from Rob Holding and a header from Yerry Mina saw them lose 2-1 to Everton.
Arteta is starting to come under pressure with the team now just four points outside the relegation zone and already 12 points adrift of the top four.
On Monday the former Arsenal midfielder was explaining his side's unlucky streak and started talking about the percentage chance of his side losing games.
"Last year against Everton we had 25% chance to win and we won. Last weekend we had 67% chance of winning and 9% of losing and we lost. 3% against Burnley we lose, 7% against Spurs we lose."

And it's fair to say most fans were as confused as us what he's going on about.

Mikel Arteta: "Last year we won against Everton with a 25% chance of winning, you win 3-2. Last weekend, it was a 67% chance of winning, any Premier League game in history, and a 9% chance of losing, and you lose. 3% against Burnley and you lose, 7% against Spurs, and you lose." pic.twitter.com/nNJiYr1qnu

Love and still back Arteta but this is a load of bollocks. I get he can’t exactly say we’re fucking shit, but at least come up with something better than this. https://t.co/ocRhqpwdAM

I don’t think Arteta’s maths quite works out there... pic.twitter.com/9o4BnLqYBD

Some Steiner math from Arteta https://t.co/EcU41Q7yem pic.twitter.com/JI3dr3FHN8

Arteta's definitely been doing some Steiner maths, but it's unlikely he'd be able to get a win over Kurt Angle right now considering his current form.
The former Manchester City assistant manager claimed after the Everton defeat that his side were playing better than their 15th place in the league table suggested.
"Normally when a team is in this position it is battered every week and it's not the case, he told his post match press conference, "We've been better than the opponent every single week but we are not winning football matches, so we have to realise that."
Is Arteta right?
