A detailed study has calculated the top earning football fan TV channels online, with Arsenal Fan TV generating a serious amount of cash per year from YouTube adverts alone.
It is believed roughly one in every five Premier League fans consume unofficial fan TV content.
In fact, across the top 20 most subscribed football fan TV channels with a minimum subscriber base of 10,000, the combined number of views are quite remarkable, as you can see in the graphic below.
American Gambler have gone away and crunched the numbers regarding subscribers, viewing figures and ad revenue over the past 12 months, using data sourced from Social Blade.
Calculating the top 20 most subscribed football fan TV channels on YouTube with a minimum subscriber base of 10,000, they found Arsenal Fan TV (AFTV) to have the most views historically.
In addition to having the most views historically, AFTV also have the most views over the past 12 months and the most views over the past 30 days - achieving 980 million, 777 million and 35.3 million views respectively.
So how much ad revenue do they earn from their channel?
AFTV are pulling in an estimated £1.2m/ $1.7m per year from YouTube adverts alone, according to the guys at American Gambler.
They have also crunched the numbers down per match for every Premier League game Arsenal play and AFTV 'stand to earn' approximately £32,504/ $44,526.
This is before earnings from brand partnerships, sponsorships and other income streams are accounted for.
In terms of second place in the ad revenue stakes, Manchester United channel The United Stand make £0.8m /$1.9m per year from YouTube adverts alone.
Former AFTV regular Troopz makes it onto third on the list, generating an estimated £175,000 from YouTube money alone.
The likes of True Geordie, Stretford Paddock, Angry Rantman and The Kick Off also feature in the top 10 list.
It's clear that football fan channels are only growing in popularity at the moment and the numbers say it all.
