Only one, single Fantasy Premier League manager had Jan Bednarek triple captained before Manchester United's 9-0 demolition of Southampton - and received a record minus score.
A night to forget for the Polish centre-back saw his side conceded a Premier League record-equalling nine goals at Old Trafford, with Bednarek netting an own goal, before being sent off for bringing down Anthony Martial to give away a penalty (a decision he protested).
That resulted in an FPL record -7 score for the player (-4 for goals conceded, -2 for an own goal, -3 for a red card, but +2 for completing 86 torrid minutes).

Spare a thought for Jan Bednarek owners, he finished #MUNSOU on -7!
And to the one manager who Triple Captained him, we, erm, have some bad news for you... 😬#FPL pic.twitter.com/WqHBFqXe2G
Except, of course, for the only team in the whole FPL - laserklubben - whose manager had bet on the Bed by triple captaining him. They received an all-time record -21 score. Ouch!
-21 is insane hahaha pic.twitter.com/xvw7wsXx89

Bednarek sets a new FPL record with -7 points, following a red card and 9 goals conceeded.#FPL #FPLCommunity #GW22

At least they had Bruno Fernandes in midfield (17 points) to make up some of the agony.
Still, while just one manager had triple captained Bednarek, another 31 FPL gaffers had a holy trinity on Tuesday night in that they selected Bednarek, plus Arsenal duo David Luiz and Bernd Leno in their defence.
Both David Luiz and Leno were red carded in Arsenal's 2-1 defeat at Wolves: keeper Leno for bizarrely punching the ball outside the box, while his Brazilian teammate was sent off for his challenge on Willian Jose.
31 managers have Bernd Leno, David Luiz and Jan Bednarek! 😬#FPL pic.twitter.com/loXamVFlOd

That reduced Arsenal to nine men - and meant the 31 managers with all three players got -11 for the trio (-7 for Bednarek, -3 for David Luiz, -1 for Leno).
Still, let's take nothing away from poor Bednarek - who was also on the pitch during Southampton's 9-0 defeat to Leicester last season - and the FPL manager who tripled their losses on him.

For the record, laserklubben had Son Heung-min as vice-captain for this gameweek. So expect the Tottenham attacker to net a couple against Chelsea tomorrow, just to compound the FPL misery.
Unlucky, Bednarek and laserklubben. We'd like to say we've been there, but - well - nobody has before.
