Liverpool's Alisson Becker has been named the greatest goalkeeper in the Premier League, while David de Gea sits in the 'Overrated' category.
SPORTbible's TierMaker ranking looks at the current crop of keepers and Alisson is a clear No 1, despite his occasional error behind an injury-hit defence this season. Overall, Alisson is a complete goalkeeper, boasting superb reflexes and great with his feet.
Just below in the 'Elite' tier sits the man Alisson keeps out of the Brazil team - Ederson - Wolves' Rui Patricio (despite a recent dip in form), plus Kasper Schmeichel, who Leicester have done well to hang on to.
Unfortunately topping the 'Overrated' tier is Manchester United's De Gea. The league's best keeper for a four-year spell, his dodgy form is sometimes referred to as a blip - but it's been three mistake-filled years for the Spain international. Bizarre as the 30-year-old should be at his peak.
He's joined by Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, who has long been unreliable, and Jordan Pickford who simply makes too many mistakes for a keeper who's first-choice with Everton and England.
Below even that is the world's most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who's been a £71.6 million disasterclass at Chelsea. The 26-year-old also seems to be going backwards and has been replaced by Edouard Mendy (who isn't ranked, as he deserves a full season first).
Higher up the ranking, Newcastle's Martin Dubravka, Crystal Palace's Vicente Guaita and West Ham's Lukasz Fabianski are all categorised as 'Underrated'. These solid stoppers don't get much credit outside of their own fanbases, while Nick Pope is starting to - but still doesn't get quite the praise he deserves.
The 'Good' category sees a mix of young keepers with serious potential such as Dean Henderson. Plus players such as Arsenal's Bernd Leno who we need to see a bit more of as, frankly, not all Gunners fans are fully convinced he's better than the departed Emi Martinez (who's been in fine form for Aston Villa).
At the bottom of the scale, we have Loris Karius (yes, he's still at Liverpool). No wish to be unkind to a 27-year-old with (a lot of) room to improve, but the contrast between him and his replacement at Anfield is blatant. Also, there's Kyle Walker, who is more literally 'Not a Keeper'.
