Romelu Lukaku will remain an Inter Milan player as long as Antonio Conte is their manager.
The Belgian striker, who has notched 25 goals in all competitions this season, has been linked with a summer move to a number of European heavyweights.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and his former club Chelsea have all been mooted as potential destinations for the 27-year-old.
Lukaku is contracted to Inter until 2024 and the club are preparing to enter talks over a contract extension and a likely salary increase later in the year.
His strong relationship with manager Conte is a key reason why the striker wishes to remain at the San Siro club.
If Conte were to depart Inter at the end of this season, Lukaku would consider his options elsewhere.
But so far, the Serie A leaders have rejected all interest in their star attacking asset and will continue to do so unless Lukaku explicitly asks to depart.
His goals have been a crucial factor in Inter establishing their current six-point advantage over AC Milan at the Serie A summit.
He has contributed 19 league goals and seven league assists as well as four Champions League goals and two in the Coppa Italia this season.
Lukaku scored Belgium's equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw away to the Czech Republic in World Cup qualifying, his 59th goal in 91 international appearances.
