'N'Golo Kante Once Accepted Dinner Invite From Fan, They Ate Curry, Watched Match Of The Day And Played FIFA

N'Golo Kanté is genuinely one of the nicest and most humble footballers alive - and one incredible exchange is worth remembering on his birthday.

It's no surprise that the Frenchman is one of the most commanding midfielders in football at the moment, but could you imagine meeting the Chelsea footballer in person and inviting him over for dinner?

Well, that's exactly what one person did - and, of course, Kanté accepted the offer.

Twitter user AbzzyRahman shared an image of the World Cup winner coming over for a meal after claiming that one of his friend's younger brother met him at the mosque.

Twitter user @jahrul999 also had the pleasure of spending the evening with Kante and showered him with praise on social media.

After missing his train back to Paris on Saturday night, N'Golo Kanté went to a local mosque to pray. 🕌🚆

He started speaking to a fan and ended up spending the evening at his house, watching Match of the Day, eating curry and playing FIFA. 🎮🍛

N'Golo Kante missed the last train home, so he went to a local mosque. He then went home with fans for some curry, FIFA and Match of the Day. Class 💙

Kanté enjoyed burst onto the world scene with Leicester City in 2016 and played a vital role in their Premier League title win.

A sole season at the King Power saw him earn a move to Chelsea, with who he has won the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup.

Many believed his powers had begun to wane after a below-par season last time round.

But 2020/2021 has reminded us all he is still world class - with once recent performance vs Atletico Madrid in the Champions League standing out.
