Ashley Young reportedly stormed out of Manchester United training last week to secure a move to Inter Milan.
Manchester United captain Young, 34, is on his way to Inter after the two clubs agreed a £1.3m deal.
Young is out of contract at the end of the season and has been free to talk to foreign clubs this month.
A pre-contract deal is believed to have been negotiated but Inter were hopeful of bringing him in this month, despite United offering a one-year extension.
That deal was rejected and the Sun reports Young was left furious during training on Friday.
It is claimed Young 'marched off' the training pitch at Carrington in an attempt to push through his exit.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had spoke to the media before the session and confirmed Young would miss the clash with Norwich as he wasn't fit.
But Young was reportedly out on the training pitch before walking off to train in the gym on his own.
Young is expected to travel to Milan on Friday or over the weekend to finalise the deal.
He could be the first of three Premier League signings for Inter this month with Christian Eriksen close to finalising his switch from
Tottenham.
Conte is also keen on a reunion with Olivier Giroud, having worked with the Frenchman at Chelsea.
