'Chelsea's Wages For The 2019/20 Season Have Been Revealed

Chelsea players' wages for this season have been revealed and the Blues' players are on surprisingly less than many of their 'big six' counterparts.

The club have been known to spend big since Roman Abramovich bought them in 2003 but in recent years the Russian hasn't spent as much on transfers or wages and that's shown by the current crop of players.

This season's wages have been revealed by Spotrac and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga leads the way on £150k-a-week, no surprise considering he's also the manager, joint with N'Golo Kante:

N'Golo Kante - £150,000

Christian Pulisic - £140,000

Willian - £120,000

Tiemoue Bakayoko - £110,000

Jorginho - £110,000

Olivier Giroud - £110,000

Mateo Kovacic - £106,673

Marcos Alonso - £100,000

Ross Barkley - £100,000

Pedro - £100,000

Antonio Rudiger - £100,000

Cesar Azpilicueta - £90,000

Michy Batshuayi - £90,000

Andreas Christensen - £80,000

Mason Mount - £75,000

Tammy Abraham - £50,000

Emerson Palmieri - £42,000

Kurt Zouma - £40,000

Ruben Loftus-Cheek - £35,000

Willy Caballero - £30,000

Marco van Ginkel - £27,885

Chelsea's top earners are actually on considerably less than the top earners at the rest of the 'big six' clubs.

Manchester United's David de Gea is reportedly the top earner in the league on £375,000-a-week with Mesut Ozil and Kevin de Bruyne not too far behind on £350k.

Liverpool and Spurs top earners might be some way off those figures but with Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele all getting £200k every seven days they're still some way clear of Chelsea's players.

The lesser wages clearly haven't proved a stumbling block for Frank Lampard's team so far this season with the former Blues' midfielder guiding his side into the top four in his first season as manager at Stamford Bridge.
