Football fans reacted to the possibility of World War III with the realisation that it might be the only way to stop Liverpool from winning the Premier League for the first time.
The Reds are currently unbeaten after 20 league games this season and 13 points clear of their closest rivals, Leicester City, with a game in hand, and currently look unstoppable.
However on Friday 'World War III' started trending on Twitter with people believing that the death of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani, killed by US air strike, would start a war.
That led to football fans to get involved with the trend, suggesting that the potential war would put an end to Liverpool's title hopes:
Klopp's team's win against Sheffield United on Thursday evening took their current unbeaten run in the league to a year, with their last defeat coming at the hands of Manchester City, and means they've not lost in 37 games.
It's only the third time in Premier League history a side has gone unbeaten for a year with Chelsea's run from 2004-2005 and Arsenal's in 2003-2004, part of their invincible run, the other two.
The Reds could equal the Gunners' record of 49 games undefeated if they go up to their game against City on April 4th without tasting defeat and come away from the Etihad still undefeated.
