'Jose Mourinho Savagely Trolls Manchester United Over Bruno Fernandes Transfer Saga

Jose Mourinho aimed a brutal dig at Manchester United over the Bruno Fernandes transfer saga.

The Portuguese manager spoke about United's pursuit of Fernandes following Tottenham's 2-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League.

He took a dig at his former side after being asked about Fernandes, who has also been heavily linked with a move to North London.

"So, Bruno Fernandes is coming to United or not? You go to Lisbon for that, and he's not coming? He's coming or not?" He said in his post-match interview with Sky Sports via Miguel Delaney.

Fernandes remains the subject of intense transfer speculation with both United and Spurs reportedly keeping tabs on the Sporting CP star.

United, meanwhile, suffered their eighth league defeat of the season after losing 2-0 at home to Burnley.

Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez scored either side of the break to seal a famous victory, their first win at Old Trafford since 1962.

The pressure continues to mount on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has lost more league games (12) than he has won (11) since being made permanent manager.

And speaking after his side's latest defeat, he said: "We hold our hands up, it wasn't good enough.

"They defended well, we couldn't open them up. The boys are giving everything. It's difficult for them. The expectations at this club is high. It's not easy for them. I'm going to back them and help them get through this."

United return to action on Sunday when they face Tranmere Rovers/Watford in the FA Cup before playing Manchester City in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final next Wednesday.
