'Only One Of Liverpool's Front Three Makes Premier League Team Of 2019 According To Ratings

Only Sadio Mane from Liverpool's explosive strike force made it onto the Premier League team of 2019.

According to whoscored.com ratings, there was no room for Mo Salah or Roberto Firmino in the best team of the year.

Mane was one of four Liverpool players included along with defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip.

Man City's Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling were both included

There were only three players included from Manchester City despite them being champions for the second year running.

Raheem Sterling was joined in midfield by Kevin de Bruyne with Sergio Aguero up front.

There were two more surprises at the back with West Ham's Lukasz Fabianski in goal and Everton full-back Lucas Digne on the left side of defence.

Leicester's James Maddison joined Sterling, De Bruyne and Mane in midfield while his Foxes team-mate Jamie Vardy was up front alongside Aguero.
