The FA Chairman Greg Clarke has told the Premier League he does not expect the season to be completed following the Coronavirus outbreak that is now affecting football.
On Friday morning, following an emergency meeting which Clarke attended, it was confirmed that the Premier League and EFL have suspended all games until April 3.
The postponement includes all matches in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two, as well as all academy and youth-team fixtures.
The news comes after Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi contracted the virus and were placed in self-isolation as a result.
But as per The Times, Clarke fears the campaign will not be finished - something which would see the Premier League lose as much as £750 million from commercial and broadcasting revenue.

While the cancelling of the season would be a complete and utter disaster for Liverpool, currently on the verge of their first league title victory in 30 years, both West Ham and Spurs are already calling for the season to be rendered "null and void".

If the league resumes in the summer, it throws a huge spanner in the works - with a number of agents telling football.london that the player contract situation will be a "nightmare".
Should the delayed campaign still be active by the time July rolls around, any players out of contract this summer would be unable to play unless they put pen to paper on a new deal.
The likes of Willian, David Silva, Jan Vertonghen, Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Adam Lallana are just some of the high-profile Premier League players out of contract on June 30.
