A fan has produced a compelling Twitter thread outlining why Didier Drogba was a "better footballer" than Thierry Henry.
Legendary Ivorian Drogba, 41, enjoyed a prolific footballing career for both club and country before his retirement in 2018.
The former Ivory Coast captain, who is the country's all-time top scorer, won four Premier League titles and a Champions League with Chelsea.
Henry, 42, is widely regarded as one of the finest players to ever feature in the Premier League and became a cult figure in Arsenal's history.
But Twitter user Keyser Soze presented an argument for why former Chelsea star Drogba was far superior to Arsenal legend Henry.
The fan pointed to their goalscoring form in cup finals and also their respective performances in the Champions League.
Soze also slammed Henry's decision to leave Arsenal and complete a sensational move to Barcelona, only to "win a Champions League [and] to piggyback off [Samuel] Eto'o and [Lionel] Messi."

Henry was notoriously terrible in big games. You can't be "great" and not be clutch. You can't think of any player in any sport that isn't clutch but is great. pic.twitter.com/rlGOiWBFoj
2006 Champions League final. Arsenal up 1-0 vs Barca. Henry 1v1 with Valdes to seal the Champions League. Bottles it and costs his team

2012 Champions League final. Chelsea losing 1-0 to Bayern. 88th minute, Drogba makes it 1-1. Also scored winning penalty in shootout. pic.twitter.com/47htveBauI
Henry shamelessly joined Barcelona to win a Champions League to piggyback off Eto'o and Messi. He was just a back up dancer. His only goal in the 2008/09 QF, SF or final was when Barca were up 3-0 vs Bayern in the QF. This grown man was reduced to leeching off their careers pic.twitter.com/uYg62s70aK

In 2012, Drogba scored twice vs Valencia in group stages when Chelsea were gonna get kicked out group stages. Then scored crucial KO stage goals against Napoli, Barcelona and Bayern. He was 34 years old. At age 34 Henry was playing for New York Red Bulls. pic.twitter.com/NLWJoDh3BK

At age 35. Drogba dominated Conte's Juventus in the CL. Big goals and assist to beat them with Galatasaray. One of the biggest nights in Galatasaray history. Before almost knocking out Madrid. At age 35, Henry was a pundit. pic.twitter.com/aNGT8GSUBJ

Drogba won a Champions League final with this team. Bertrand and Kalou as his wingers for service. He was 34 years of age. Henry failed to be the man to win a Champions League for a London club. He choked when it mattered and had to piggyback off a stacked Barca team to win it. pic.twitter.com/OGpk7ujGsV

"Drogba wasn't complete, he was just a target man"
