Alaba 'snubs potential move to Man City & prefers to choose Madrid or Barca'

In addition to Neuer's contract extension, Bayern is also concerned with the still unsettled future of David Alaba. With Man City as a competitor for the star out of the race.

Where Alaba will play in the coming season is open. Flick absolutely wants to keep the Austrian, but negotiations for a new contract until 2021 have recently been terminated with no results.

One thing is clear: If Alaba does not extend until summer, he will be sold. From economic reasons you don't want to go into the last contract year with him and risk a free transfer.

According to FT information, Alaba has refused to move to Man City, but it doesn't mean that the 27-year-old agrees to extend contract with Bayern.

Alaba still prefers to move to Real Madrid of Barcelona. He therefore rules out a renewed collaboration with his former coach Guardiola in Manchester.

Zidane shows fundamental interest in Alaba. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is still completely open whether Madrid could finance such a blockbuster transfer.
