Barcelona 'offering Lautaro salary of €10m gross per season' shoud he join them

Barcelona are reportedly offering Lautaro Martinez a salary of 10 million euros gross per season, should he complete a move to the Catalan club this summer.

While Inter are keen to keep the player, they cannot match that offer.

This is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, although Barcelona would still have to agree terms with Inter and the Serie A club aren't willing to back down from the 111m euros of the Argentine's release clause.

There could, though, be a compromise with 60m euros paid and other players entering into the operation.

Even if Lautaro does move to Barcelona, he wouldn't immediately be among the highest-paid players as Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal all have higher salaries than he is being offered.

His pay packet would, however, increase over time.
