Man United and Chelsea 'join Tottenham in race for Meunier'

Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly made fresh enquiries for Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier.

As reported by L'Equipe, Tottenham remain in pole position to sign the right-back, who is set to become a free agent this summer.

Tottenham are eager to bolster their right-back options, with Serge Aurier having often struggled.

At 28 years old, Meunier would provide Tottenham with an experienced option in defence.

If Meunier was to join United he most probably wouldn't be first-choice with Aaron Wan-Bissaka already at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Chelsea can call upon the likes of Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta, although the latter can also play elsewhere in defence.

A Belgium international, Meunier has been at PSG since 2016 and has made 128 appearances for the club.

During his time at PSG Meunier has won three league titles and has also won the Coupe de France.
