The defender celebrated his 16th birthday last month but turned down the offer of a contract extension from Barcelona in favour of making the move to England.
Spanish newspaper Diario Sport report that Jurado now has an agreement in place to sign for United and will arrive in the summer.
Despite Jurado spending nine years playing for Barcelona's youth teams and the Nou Camp club offering him continued progression and an improved salary, he has chosen to leave.
Having played for Barcelona's Cadet A side this season, Jurado was set to be promoted into the Juvenil B team next season.
