'The 15 Greatest Defenders In Premier League History Have Been Ranked

The 15 greatest defenders in Premier League history have been revealed and it's John Terry who tops the rankings.

Terry spent his entire Premier League career with Chelsea and won a slew of trophies in his 19 year career.

He edges top spot over former international teammate Rio Ferdinand who comes second, while Sol Campbell, Tony Adams and Nemanja Vidic round out the top five.

The highest current active player in the list is Vincent Kompany, who plies his trade as player-manager at Anderlecht after 11 years at Manchester City.
