Manchester United ended Manchester City's incredible 21 game winning run with an excellent performance on Sunday, and few will be as pleased with their performance as Luke Shaw.
After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side had drawn three games in-a-row 0-0, there were fears of another boring game on Sunday.
With hosts City on a record breaking run the likely alternative to a boring draw wasn't much better for United fans but Solskjaer's side held to the usual derby cliche and 'threw the form book out the window.'
One of the highlights for Solskjaer, United fans and even England boss Gareth Southgate, who was at the Etihad to watch the game, was Shaw.
The full back has been having a great season and his performance on the weekend was the latest great showing, scoring United's second, and his personal highlights package shows how good he was.

The 25-year-old was a part of the England squad at the 2014 World Cup but injuries and form mean he has only had eight caps, the last of which was in 2018.
Whilst Southgate has a whole host of right backs to choose from, the national team coach has far fewer left back options and there is no doubt the former Southampton full back is the best of the pick right now.
The Three Lions have three World Cup qualifiers at the end of this month to play and it would be shock if Shaw wasn't called up.
Luke Shaw's glow up has amazing. Honestly wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he's been the best LB in the World this year.

Luke Shaw was on fire from start to finish today. Been so consistent throughout the season and is in with a shout for Player of the Year. Fantastic to see him at his absolute best.

The issue with Shaw was that he didn't work hard enough. Every manager he'd ever had, from youth level, to club, to international, said he didn't put in a shift during training. Then Ole comes around and Shaw's working his arse off and is the best left back in the league 👍 pic.twitter.com/WrOQaB5Cxy

Despite their recent poor performances, United sprung into action early in the game and were 1-0 up inside the second minute when Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty, despite Kyle Walker's best efforts to put him off.
They had periods of holding on and defending deep and Rodri came closest to equalising just after half-time, when his shot hit the woodwork.
The visitor's counter attacking kept Guardiola's side on their toes though and Shaw made it 2-0 after a brilliant run, following Dean Henderson's throw to him, and he slotted home after a one-two with Marcus Rashford.
Shaw, along with Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, were solid at the back and, despite some late pressure from the home side, never looked in danger of ending City's long run.
