'Jadon Sancho's Head Is 'Already At Manchester United' As Move Edges Closer

Jadon Sancho was reportedly benched for Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga game this weekend as 'his head is already with Manchester United'.

Dortmund faced RB Leipzig on Saturday afternoon and Sancho found himself on the bench as Lucien Favre tinkered with his team.

German journalist Heiko Wasser hinted that the England international found himself on the sidelines thanks to interest from United.

The tweet above reads: "That Sancho sitting on the bench at first is completely ok, he is already with his head at Man United."

Wasser then went on to tweet following the game and explained he is also a Borussia Dortmund fan who hopes the 20-year-old doesn't move.

Sancho's move to the bench was surprising considering he missed the first three matches of the Bundesliga restart with a groin injury.

Following his return to the starting eleven, he netted a hat-trick in a 6-1 win against Paderborn.

Saturday's game belonged to Erling Haaland however as the Norweigan teenager netted both goals.

He opened the scoring at the Red Bull Arena by finishing off a flowing move that begun in the Dortmund half.

Great work from Mats Hummels and Julian Brandt in the build-up allowed Giovanni Reyna to delicately set up Haaland who made no mistake in front of goal.

Haaland kept his cool to score his 43rd goal in all competitions this season.

Do you think Jadon Sancho will move to Manchester United this summer?
