Aston Villa have ran out 7-2 winners over Premier League champions Liverpool at Villa Park in the most shocking result of the season.
Villa have started the season in great form and found themselves 4-1 up in the first half after an Olly Watkins hat-trick and John McGinn long range drive.
What followed a second half which saw Ross Barkley net his first goal for the club after arriving on loan from Chelsea earlier this week.
A dream debut for Ross Barkley! 💭

Mohamed Salah, who had scored in the first half, then grabbed his second of the game to bring the game to 5-2.
Villa captain Jack Grealish's shot ricocheted off Fabinho and past a helpless Adrian to take Dean Smith's side even further ahead.
Grealish then doubled his tally with a cool finish to definitively seal a historic victory.
Virgil van Dijk attempted to rally his teammates who were visibly shocked but it was too little too late.
It could have got even worse as Watkins rattled the bar as he attempted to get his fourth and Villa's eighth.
The result comes after Manchester United's 6-1 humiliation at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur and it proves this is one of the weirdest Premier League seasons yet.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and captain Jordan Henderson looked more and more bemused on the sidelines as every goal flew in.
Sky Sports commentator Jamie Carragher remarked it could be one of the worst defensive displays he had ever seen from his former side.
Do you think this is one of the Premier League's biggest shocks of all-time?
