Manchester United will keep faith with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even if they lose to Everton this weekend, according to reports.
Two losses in a row have increased the pressure on the United boss.
There were suggestions that defeat at Goodison Park could see the Old Trafford hierarchy hand Solskjaer his marching orders with the international break giving a new manager time to bed in.
However, as per The Athletic, Solskjaer's job is said to not be under threat even if they do come up short on Merseyside on Saturday.
United registered just two shots on target in last Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, before Wednesday night's humiliating loss to Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League.
The Red Devils are currently in 15th place in the Premier League and haven't won at home all season. They sit closer to the relegation places than the top-four spot they harboured at the start of the campaign.
Beating PSG and RB Leipzig but losing to Istanbul Basaksehir is the most Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thing ever. It's been this pattern since he took charge and almost two years later the same frustrating problems remain unsolved #mufc

However, United recognise Solskjaer performed well in guiding his side to third in the top flight last season, as well as three semi-finals, and believe he deserves the chance to turn things around.
Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite to succeed Solskjaer should United eventually run out of patience and the Red Devils are believed to have sounded the Argentine out over his interest in the role.

The 48-year-old was a guest on Sky Sports Monday Night Football show this week and admitted he was keen to return to the game nearly a year after being sacked by Tottenham.
"I always feel ready to be involved in the game again," Pochettino said.
"I love football, it's my passion, it's my job.
"I am looking for work. I love the game. I'm working and doing things but it's not the same as being involved every single day and sharing with your players and staff. You miss that, that's the reality."

In his post-match press conference on Wednesday, Solskjaer was asked whether he was worried his position was under threat.
He stated: "I decline to comment on such a thing. Of course, it's early on and opinions are out there all the time. You've got to stay strong.
"I'm employed by the club to do a job and I do that to the best of my ability with my staff."
