Palmeiras forward Gabriel Veron is on Arteta's radar according to reports.
The Brazilian, who is an U17 World Cup winner, is also of interest to Manchester United and Juventus.
Veron, who is valued at £23m, can play anywhere across the forward line which makes him a valuable asset.
