No plans to pause season despite virus disruption - Premier League

The Premier League said on Wednesday it had "no plans" to pause the season and had confidence in its protocols after a third English top-flight match was postponed due to coronavirus outbreaks.

There have been calls for a "circuit-breaker" in the competition to help halt the spread of the virus.

But the Premier League said in a statement that it had "not discussed pausing the season and has no plans to do so".
