Giroud has been consistently linked with a move away from west London this month having found game time hard to come by under Frank Lampard this season.
West Ham last month became the latest side to be linked with Giroud, but Sportsmail reported that Giroud had relaxed his stance on quitting the club after being given more of a run out by Lampard.
Sources close to Giroud indicated his position softened after being assured he has a sizeable role to play this season
Giroud revealed his original decision to consider a move away from Chelsea stemmed from talks with France manager Didier Deschamps.
'We had a conversation and he said if the situation stayed like that, you will have to take a decision in January,' said Giroud. 'But now I am a happy man and proud to be a Chelsea player.'
Pirlo went on to hint that he was intent on bolstering his attacking options and give more support to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala.
He continued: 'The window opens tomorrow, we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities. Maybe a striker that can rotate with our strikers.'
Dybala, who was making just his ninth Serie A appearance of the season on Sunday, added Juve's fourth and Pirlo was quick to stress the Argentine's importance.
'We need Dybala, he needs us,' Pirlo said. 'He worked very well during the week in training, we could tell during the match that he was in better physical condition and we kept him on to the end because we hoped he would score that goal.'
