Former England international Karen Carney has been forced to delete her Twitter page, following the abuse she got from Leeds United fans in the wake of their 5-0 win over West Brom.
On Tuesday Leeds beat Sam Allardyce's side quite handily and following the match Carney praised Marcelo Bielsa's side for out running other teams.
She also questioned whether they might run out of legs and said the team had been promoted last season because of Covid giving them a 'respite'
The club chose to tweet the video of her speaking on Amazon Prime after the game and she was subject to lots of abuse after the match.
Leeds condemned fans who abused her the following day, though they never deleted the offending social media post, but the abuse has clearly not stopped for the 33-year-old.
The former England international, who twice reached World Cup semi-finals with the national team, has now deleted her Twitter account after being hounded by Leeds fans.
Appears that Karen Carney has deleted her Twitter account.

What a shame that someone has to leave a social media platform because of abuse.
Me saying be nice to everyone isn't going to change this place, but please be nice to everyone 👍❤️

The club put out a statement via the media saying, "The club completely condemns any abuse received by Karen Carney on social media following last night's Premier League game with West Bromwich Albion.
"Everyone at our club respects Karen greatly for all she has achieved in the game, as well as her work in the media and the charity work she undertakes."
However the statement wasn't even posted on their website and they show no signs of getting rid of the tweet, but they have invited her to their training ground for the FA Cup game vs Crawley Town.
On the night Leeds talk the lead against West Brom through Romaine Sawyers own goal after just nine minutes. The visitors doubled their lead through Ezgjan Alioski just after the half-hour mark.
The game was all but over before half-time as Bielsa's side made it three and then four-nil ahead of the break, with Jack Harrison and Rodrigo adding the goals.
Raphina rounded off the scoring to put an impressive five goals past Big Sam's team, who had drawn with Liverpool just 48 hours earlier.
Hopefully they can soon show all the class off the pitch that they're showing on it.
