Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold broke his own unwanted Premier League record in the club's shock 1-0 defeat against Burnley last night.
The 22-year-old struggled in large parts as Jurgen Klopp's side dropped more vital points in the title race.
Alexander-Arnold, who has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season, attempted a total of 18 open-play crosses on Thursday evening but remarkably, he couldn't find a teammate with any of them.
As a result of his 0% success rate, Trent is the only player in the Premier League across the last five seasons to not complete a single cross with over 12 attempts in a game, according to Squawka.

In fact, just two weeks after giving the ball away 38 times against Southampton in a 77 minute cameo - which was a Premier League record at the time - the right-back lapped himself by losing possession a staggering 39 times in total against Burnley.

Back at the start of January, after former Liverpool goalkeeper David James urged Jurgen Klopp to drop Alexander-Arnold so he could "have a breather", the German manager backed his defender.
"That's normal if you play football in public and have people used to the level Trent showed over the last three or four years, since he started playing with us pretty much, then that's normal," Klopp said.
"In a game like this it was an obvious case of not his best game, he knows this. We know that and that's clear."
Liverpool fans, meanwhile, were critical of the 22-year-old's performance against Sean Dyche's side.
If ever one moment summed up the form of a player, it was Trent's pass into touch in stoppage time, under no pressure at all.

This is the worst he has ever played by a considerable distance - confidence and fitness levels look completely shot.
Think there’s too much pressure on Trent to be the only creative outlet atm and it’s showing

Some off form and the team doesn’t know what to do
Salah was great creatively earlier on but seems he’s been instructed to get in the box more
Genuinely think that Trent performance is one of the worst I’ve ever seen in a Liverpool shirt. Would have rather had Johnny Vegas on the pitch

Mate, I’ve been his biggest defender but Trent Alexander-Arnold looks fucking horrific and has for a while. He needs a break. Geezers been at it from such a young age. Give him a rest, he’s in woeful form. Never seen so many poor crosses and miss placed passes.
